Terms of Service

The short version

• Orders cannot be altered, modified, or cancelled once placed.
• Aquarium orders are final — non-refundable, non-exchangeable, non-returnable. Each tank is built, inspected, and custom-crated by hand once ordered, and that work cannot be undone.
• International orders are final on the same terms.

Agreement

These terms govern all purchases made through reefcasa.com. By placing an order you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted them. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not place an order.

Reef Casa Inc. is located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. All sales are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario.

Orders are final once placed

Our fulfilment process is automated. The moment an order is submitted it enters our packing queue, inventory is committed, and preparation begins. For this reason we cannot alter, modify, add to, combine, or cancel an order after it has been placed.

This includes changes to items, quantities, shipping addresses, and delivery dates. Please review your cart carefully before completing checkout.

Aquariums and aquarium systems

All aquarium orders are final. They are non-refundable, non-exchangeable, and non-returnable.

Aquariums are built, inspected, and packed to order. Each one is crated with custom protective materials and a significant amount of hand labour goes into preparing it for transit. Once that process has begun it cannot be reversed, and the packaging cannot be reused.

Please place an aquarium order only when you are ready and committed to the purchase.

International orders

All international orders are final — non-refundable, non-exchangeable, and non-returnable.

We ship from Canada. Any customs duties, import taxes, brokerage fees, or charges levied by the destination country are the responsibility of the customer and are not included in the price paid at checkout.

Refused or abandoned international shipments are not eligible for refund, and any return-to-sender or storage charges incurred remain the customer’s responsibility.

Shipping and delivery

Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on the destination and the contents of your order. Transit times quoted by carriers are estimates and are not guaranteed by Reef Casa.

Orders over $99 require a signature on delivery. If nobody is available to sign, the carrier will hold the package at a local depot or retail location for pickup. Reef Casa is not responsible for packages left unattended, delayed by the carrier, or held for pickup and not collected.

It is the customer’s responsibility to provide a complete and accurate delivery address. Corrections requested after an order has shipped may incur carrier fees payable by the customer.

Damage in transit

Inspect your shipment on arrival. Damage caused in transit must be reported to us within 24 hours of delivery, with photographs of the packaging and the affected items, before any part of the shipment is discarded.

Claims submitted outside this window, or without supporting photographs, cannot be processed.

Pricing and availability

Prices are listed in the currency shown at checkout and are subject to change without notice. We make every effort to keep stock levels accurate, but availability is not guaranteed until an order is confirmed.

In the event of a pricing or listing error, Reef Casa reserves the right to cancel the affected order and issue a full refund.

Product images and specifications

Product photographs are representative. Glass, finishes, and hardware may vary slightly between production runs, and colours can differ between screens. Specifications are subject to change as products are revised.

Limitation of liability

Reef Casa’s liability in connection with any order is limited to the amount paid for the product concerned. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, including but not limited to livestock loss, water damage, or loss of use.

Aquarium equipment must be installed and operated according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Responsibility for safe installation, including the suitability of the supporting surface and the surrounding environment, rests with the customer.

Please only place an order on this website when you are ready and committed. Our team invests real time and care into preparing every shipment, particularly aquariums, so that it reaches you safely.
